About MECR

Midnight Espresso was established in Adelaide in 2018 to share our passion and love of great coffee.

Consumers have become much more discerning and knowledgeable in their coffee choices. Noticing a gap in the market for mobile specialty coffee, Midnight Espresso set about providing premium coffee through our coffee van. Roasting our own coffee ensures what produce is of the highest quality and grade possible.

With over 15 years’ experience in the coffee industry, owner-operator Liam has built up quite the impressive resumé, including stints as a barista trainer, espresso machine technician and coffee roaster. He has competed at state level in Australian Specialty Coffee Association barista competitions, national roasting competitions, and is an accredited judge.

Midnight Espresso has quickly carved out a niche by providing Adelaide’s hard-working healthcare professionals with a much-needed caffeine fix in the early hours of the morning. Our dedication to producing exceptional coffee at all hours of the day (and night!) quickly saw our operation expand to meet an increasing demand from retail and wholesale customers.

We are dedicated to producing coffee with as little environmental impact as possible and aim to have zero waste to landfill. We use recyclable or compostable products where possible and offer incentives to our customers to bring their own reusable cups.

Supporting our local community is at the heart of what we do, and we have partnered with a range of local suppliers and businesses including Fleurieu Milk, Saudade Portuguese Tarts and Complete Café Services.
